CCWR Sanctuary Rabbits

Rabbits are not easy pets. As well as being cute and soft, they can kick, scratch, bite and be destructive. We get calls at least once a month from people asking us to take in their rabbits. The internet lists many rabbits in need of a home.

We love our rabbits, but are able to provide for them in a way that keeps them happy. They have large outdoor pens, companion rabbits, good shelters and protection from predators. We handle them in ways that help them learn to trust us.

Peter

Peter

This sweet neutered male rabbit was given into the care of our farm when the owner decided he wasn't getting the attention he needed.

Leia

This cute young female rabbit came into our care from someone who had too many baby rabbits. She is doing well sharing an enclosure with Peter who seems to love and protect her.

Snowball

Snowball

This friendly neutered male was rescued by a neighbour who realized the owners had left the rabbit behind when they moved. Snowball is a special rabbit who is able to get along sharing an enclosure with Kisses, a female who can be aggressive to other rabbits.
